Product Review #024: True Wireless Bluetooth Earbuds by CASECUBE

I recently reviewed the Rayvol Bluetooth Adapter for Nintendo Switch, and while it is a great little accessory for my Switch, without a good set of Bluetooth earbuds or headphones, it doesn’t do much. Today, I will be taking a look at the True Wireless Bluetooth Earbuds by CASECUBE. Do they get the job done? Let’s take a look…
For starters, these are some pretty good-looking earbuds, with an even cooler-looking charging case. The case is actually one of my favorite features, as it is sleek, very sturdy—the lid stays shut tight, even when my 3-year-old got ahold of it and dropped it, and the case has a good, solid weight to it—and has a nice and bright LCD display across the front. The case stores and charges the earbuds safely inside, and I must say, I have been using these earbuds almost 8 hours a day at work, plus a couple of hours a day playing my Switch, and I only have to charge the case toward the end of the week, if even then. The ear buds themselves will last for around 6 hours on a single charge, and can be recharged fairly quickly inside the case, with the LCD display indicating the charge status of each individual earbud. The case can also be used as a power bank to charge your electronic devices.
Now, appearances and battery life are certainly important, but what really matters is the sound quality. The True Wireless Bluetooth Earbuds do not disappoint. I previously used a different set of Bluetooth earbuds to test out the adapter for my Switch, and while those were pretty good, the True Wireless Earbuds take the quality up a level. I was hearing things in-game that I’d never heard before, and given that they fit so perfectly in my ears, after a few minutes, I couldn’t even feel them anymore. While they feel like they’re not there, they actually fit in quite snugly, and are really not going anywhere, so they would work just as well for workouts as they would for gaming—or perhaps combining the two and playing some Zumba: Burn it Up!?
They are also IPX7 Waterproof, which means that if you work up a decent sweat, if you like to run in the rain, or maybe a little of column A, a little of column B, you won’t short them out and they won’t short you out either. In fact, they’re able to be submerged in up to 1 meter of water for up to 30 minutes without issue, so you could even take a shower with them in after your workout… if that’s your thing…
The earbuds are incredibly easy to pair, and all I had to do was take them out of the case and push the button. There was zero noticeable latency with these earbuds, and aside from one instance where the left earbud suddenly announced without warning its desire to power off—which it then proceeded to do—I never ran into any issues with them. I even managed to walk most of the way across my office without losing signal—a little more than 40 feet!
Overall, I really like these earbuds a lot. The look is great, the feel is perfect, the battery is strong, and the sound is crystal clear and gets quite loud without distorting at all. I would absolutely recommend the True Wireless Bluetooth Earbuds for anyone who needs a pair of Bluetooth earbuds. For the price, they are more than worth it!
Score: 9.5/10
